Palms to Pines - Team Speedy
Several Members of Oregon Pines 99s Flew to Bend, Oregon, for Palms to Pines Air Race Finish
Oregon Pines became a chapter of The Ninety-Nines on May 28, 1980.  We are very active with many women pilots based at the Independence, Corvallis, Albany, and Salem airports.  We also have members at airports as far South as Creswell and North as Troutdale, and we set up our tent at fly-ins throughout the area every summer.  We also have occasional fly-outs to airports in various parts of the Northwest.  For educational outreach, we present Flying Companion Seminars at the Oregon Pilots' Association State Convention each August, and other events as requested.  We also hold a Girl Scout Aerospace Badge program at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum every other spring. If you are a woman pilot, or interested in learning, we would love to meet you.  Please join us at our next meeting on the second Thursday of every month.  Find the location in our current newsletter.
